Connection Groups

What is a Connection Group?

"... live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or am absent, I will hear about you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind, working side by side for the faith of the gospel" Philippians 1:27

Every human being is created with a desire for relationship and needs to be part of a community. As a result, relationships are a vital element in our Christian journey, and we want everyone to have the best opportunity to become a maturing follower of Christ, unhindered by the world around them. We believe the best way for this to occur is for people to join together in small groups for the purpose of building relationships, Bible study, prayer, encouragement and meeting physical needs when needed.

Connection Groups are open to anyone, but we encourage you to find a group and commit at least 18-24 months to being a part of that group. This will allow you to build authentic relationships with those in your group. You'll be able to share your thoughts, struggles, and joys that life brings. Groups meet at a variety of locations and times throughout the week. Each group is unique in its makeup, and groups are primarily "video-driven". This means that there is not a master teacher but a facilitator who guides the discussion, which allows all members to share and learn from each other while staying biblically grounded.

How do I join a Connection Group?

The easiest way to get plugged-in to a Connection Group is to attend a Big Connection Event  where new groups are formed and existing groups add new members if possible. These events take place several times throughout the year, usually at the beginning of each semester and possibly more.  If you would like to visit one our existing groups before the next BCE, many of our groups are “open” (meaning they have room to add new members). You can get the most current information on groups by visiting our information desk on Sundays or viewing the list below. One of our biggest desires is to see people get connected in a small group, so we will try and accommodate your needs in whatever way we can.

Listed below is all of our Connection Groups or use our Group Finder to select a group that fits your needs.
